Cordless tour-guide sets were, as the name suggests, designed for professional guiding on visits to factories, museums or tourist excursions, frequently associated with mobility of listeners and groups.
Nowadays they are also suited to use as whispering equipment for interpreters under certain circumstances. This usually means when it is not possible to set up standard interpretation booths and equipment, e.g. for lack of space. They are no substitute for regular interpretation equipment in large halls.
The PFA consists of a cordless microphone (transmitter), normally 20 receivers for listeners and a charging case in which the receivers are replaced after every usage in order to recharge their batteries.

We offer different types of PFA for rental in Germany. Our range includes, for example

• over 1000 brand new stethoset receivers of the type Sennheiser Tourguide HDE 2020 D (these are one-piece receiver-headphones that hang under the listener’s chin)
• over 1000 receivers (bodypacks) of the type Sennheiser EK1038
• over 600 digital bodypack receivers of the type Sennheiser Tourguide EK 2020 D

(The bodypacks come with lightweight, plug-in headphones)

These modern systems offer perfect language quality, an attractive design and an extended range for good reception.
